Aphrodisiacs around the world have been believed to enhance your sexuality and drive in the bedroom. Although most aphrodisiacs' effects cannot be scientifically proven, many cultures around the world are influenced sexually by different foods. A common misconception is that the benefits are only experienced through eating, but food activates other senses as well. Aroma, texture and shape of certain foods help to arouse emotions and get you in the mood. An added plus is that most aphrodisiacs are delicious to eat.

Foods that arouse sexuality have ancient roots and can be linked to many different cultures in history. Although aphrodisiacs are known and used around the world, specific foods can be traced back to certain countries and regions. Try these different foods to spice up your life.
